How long does it take to cook beans?
Unsoaked beans (kidney, chickpeas, etc.) take about 25–35 minutes on high pressure. Always follow the recommended water ratios.
Is the inner pot induction‑compatible?
No, it is designed exclusively for the Philips EPC. Do not use it on a separate induction cooktop.
Can I open the lid immediately after cooking?
For safety, you must either allow a natural pressure release (10‑15 min) or use the quick‑release valve carefully, away from your face and hands.
